Chele La Pass is a high mountain pass located in Bhutan, in the western part of the country. It is one of the most scenic routes from Paro to Haa in which offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains like Mt. Jumolhari along with Jichu Drake and valleys. The pass is located at an altitude of 3,988 meters (13,083 feet) and is a popular destination for tourists, trekkers, and mountaineers.
The road winds its way through dense forests, past small villages, and across rushing streams. As you reach the top of the pass, you’ll be greeted with panoramic views of the surrounding peaks and valleys. On a clear day, you can see as far as the Himalayan range to the north.
In addition to its stunning views, Chele La Pass is also known for its rich natural biodiversity and cultural flaunt of the prayer flags. The area is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna, including rare species of birds and plants.
